Hey everybody,
I'm in the process of rooting my phone. This has been quite difficult as I've run into problem after problem. At this point, I'm pretty stuck. I'm using the Revoked 3 program, and I'm at the HBOOT driver install process: public:windows_hboot_driver_install [RootWiki]
My original problem stems from "Other devices" not appearing in Device Manager.
I read up a little bit about that issue and found that installing HTC Sync may fix it. So now I'm dead stuck because I did indeed install HTC Sync and when I open it and connect my phone (HTC Evo 4G) it doesn't recognize it and continues to display "No device connected." My computer did, however, recognize it as it made the sound. Also, USB Debugging is enabled on my phone.
Thank you so much in advance for all your suggestions!
