HTC sync manager disconects internet

[Silly question]

Hi there
Everytime I try to download HTC Synch Manager it disconects my laptop from the internet. Then when I uninstall the synch manager and restart the lap top I am connected again. Has anyone else had this?

To tell you the truth, I was never able to get HTC Sync to work at all, and removed it from my computer.

I think it is a problem that only HTC can fix
