HTC Sync Manager Software and the HTC 10

Has anyone been able to get the HTC Sync Manager software to recognize and work with the HTC 10? I can not.

Same issue, just connected, getting "Update needed". I have Sync Manager 3.1.69.5 installed on Win 10. Sync Manager is configured to share everything with the application.

I have the same version installed on Win 7 Pro 64bit, and it won't recognize the 10. When I check for updates, it says I have the most current version.

No help from HTC Support.

I used MediaMonkey to migrate my iTunes playlists into the 10. The stock music player appears to be Google Music - it picks it up well enough. The only reason I was using the Sync Manager was because it was able to translate my iTunes playlists into the phone.

Same issue - I'm having issues w/ my 10 crashing and restarting. I called HTC and advised that I had already completed a factory reset, so they suggested I try repairing everything via the Sync Manager. But it never recognized the phone as connected. Long story short - HTC is sending me a replacement phone, assuming they ever send it (they are very slow to fulfill orders/swaps).

Just got off the phone with HTC Support Escalations. It is now a known problem; and they are getting lots of reports that the HTC Sync Manager will not recognize the unlocked HTC 10. They can replicate the problem and it has been escalated up the line to come up with a solution. She promised to call back when they have something to report.
