HTC Sync Manager will not sync with iTunes

Hi everyone,

I recently bought an HTC One S and the phone is great. The only issue is that I have been unable to sync the phone with itunes. I've downloaded and installed HTC Syn Manager wich should supposedly do the job but unfortunately does not recognized my iTunes.

I've tried to use the "import" button in HTC Syn Manager and select iTunes but nothing happens. I've also tried to use the "External Playlist" functionality but when I hit "Import Playlists" not of my itunes playlists come up.

Would appreciate if anybody knows how to get HTC Sync Manager to work properly and detect my iTunes library, playlists, etc.

Welcome to AF Razodo!

As far as I'm aware, HTC Sync won't talk to iTunes, you'd need an app like Doubletwist or iSyncr to sync your iTunes library to your new handset.

This is what the HTC Sync Manager website says:

"...Create playlists. Import iTunes or Windows Media Player music library and playlists. All can be easily synced back to your phone."

HTC Sync Manager

It is supposed to talk to iTunes...

In HTC Sync Manager click -

Settings (top-right corner) >> Music Library >> Import Playlist

Select iTune option and continue ... this may takes a little while ..
