This is I believe a common problem but new to me - trying to connect HTC Desire S to W7 64 bit machine - no device recognised - directed to usb debugging but instructions do not fit my machine - help appreciated
 
Have HTC LEgend. Never sync'd it, bit of an old dinosaur, but need help...kids too busy! Have downloaded sync to desktop followed instructions but won't recognise device? What do i do. Is it important to sync phone? Phone going very slowly at times Ahhhh
