HTC Vivit voice commands problem

I have an HTC Vivid and cannot get voice commands. I have google voice search, but when I say "Call Linda" all I get is that in the subject line, it does not call my contact Linda. What can I do to get this thing to work?

Hello and welcome aboard. I'm surprised that it doesn't work for you, mine does flawlessly. Are you using the most recent update? If so, make sure the name is spelt correctly inside your contacts.

Hopefully you'll find a way to get this fixed.
