HTC Wildfire problem

Hi people,

I purchased a HTC wildfire last August 2011,the problem I've recently encountered is that, one evening when I went to look at my homescreen I noticed that it looked as if all the programmes/files had condensed into concertina effect. Since then the start up procedure doesn't come on i.e tune & logo and the screen is constantly blank, with only the icon lights coming on at the bottom, any reasons as to why this is happening?
All help would be appreciated......:confused:

I'm guessing that the system has been corrupted. An installed app is usually the caused of this. However, we can't leave out the fact that the device may have gone bad. Check into your sub-forum for your device to see if this problem has been mentioned before. If all fails - then you might consider resetting the device. This would get rid of all corrupt applications installed. Best of luck to you. :)

My girlfriend purchased a HTC wildfire last year she droped yhe phone a few times and she now she can turn it on only whit the charger can she turn it on whit a diferent method? thank's

does she have a spare battery she could put in and see if it'll turn on that way? It could be the battery or something else internally that is wrong with her Wildfire.

it's not internal is the button that starts the phone up are there oder solutins to turn it on ?
