To connect a phone to a PC, you will need an appropriate cord (usually your charging cord) and plug one end into your phone and the other into a USB port on the PC, The something should pop up on your PC asking you to install the drivers for your phone as well as some additional software, say yes to it all, (you can uninstall what you don't need later) once that is done you should have access to your phones storage.
