Help - how do I move my photo's from my phone to my laptop please?

I personally prefer DropBox (http://db.tt/gsxlWX3a) or AirDroid (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid)
Dropbox allows me to keep images and files synced between my work PC, Laptop, phone, and tablet with little to no effort.
Airdroid lets me connect to my phone and transfer files (among other things) while both are on the same WiFi network.
