Help Huawei Ascend G300 Wifi problem

Please Help me,
My device is Huawei Ascend g300, Baseband version is 2030.
I am having a problem with Wifi and I tried to find a solution but I could not.
When I am trying to turn on my WIFI it says turning on, but nothing happens. I think this happened to me after installing a custom rom. I have tried forced update of huawei. I guess this should be because of the problem in Wifi module/kernel. I have tried MIUI custom rom, then WIfi tethering worked.
If there some one who can help me please help me.....

Try toggling airplane mode. If that doesn't work, try removing the WiFi network from settings and adding it back from scratch.

Can you explain me about "removing the WiFi network from settings and adding it back from scratch."

Hi Esh. If you go into your settings... the link will be in your app drawer... and click to open settings you will find wifi in the list of settings. Clicking on wifi should bring you the connections available and connections you have established. Clicking on the connection in question should bring your an option to remove or forget that connection. After you remove that connection, you can then search for nearby wifi available and your router should be in the list. You can then set up that connection with correct credentials. I hope this helps.

actually, I cannot even turn on the wifi
so these methods won;t work. bad luck to me
 
Seems like the ROM you are using is the problem. Has anyone else using that ROM got the same problem? Why not us another?
 
So why not use MIUI rom? I'm confused as to what you are trying to achieve. Please give more info
 
Well if there aren't any roms out there offering what you want, it seems like you would be better of going back to stock or searching for a custom rom that works with wi-fi. I don't have this phone so can't give you any feedback on other roms
