Huawei HarmonyOS

This should be interesting...

Saw that HarmonyOS was available for my over three year old Huawei Mate10, which had stopped receiving Android updates earlier in the year. The Mate10 is not my main phone any more, and no longer has a SIM in it, so decided to give it a try.

Well the "Control Panel" looks a bit different now, and looks more like Apple iOS.

No issues with that in Chinese of course. And "Beijing Bass" is not a fish. :)

From what I've read, HarmonyOS is currently only available for China variant Huawei phones. It seems to be fully Android compatible with the apps I've tried so far. I believe it does a lot of AOSP code in it. After the OS change and the phone restarted, all my apps and everything else was still there.
