Root Huawei m835 wont reboot into recovery

I'm having trouble getting my phone to work. I downloaded a new ROM and now it wont let me reboot into recovery mode and the lock screen says "No UIM card, emergency calls only" and will reboot but when i reboot into recovery mode it freezes on the Huawei symbol. Tried to hold in buttons and download various Recover apps, any suggestions?! Thanx

I moved this thread over to our Huawei m835 root section, the folks here should be best qualified to help you getting your phone working. Are you sure the phone says no UIM not "SIM" it sounds like your SIM card may be out or not working properly.
