This phone will only send SMS messages, not plain text. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

I thought SMS was plain text. Do you mean MMS?

I'm not sure myself, but every now and then a text message goes out as "text" and most of the time messages are only sent as "SMS". OOps, I just read the description of SMS and it is another way of saying Text Message. I thought it was a more costly way to send text messages. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Mark
