Help Huawei P10 brightness dimming issue, any way to fix it?

Hi,

My Huawei P10 dims after five seconds of use and it becomes a problem when in sunlight as I can barely see the screen. I have disabled automatic brightness and turned the brightness level to maximum but this issue has not been resolved. I've also tried resetting the phone settings and the issue persists.

Is there anyway to fix this? It is a really annoying problem.

There is an old app that I use just for this purpose.

It may or may not work on your device.

It is called Brightness Level from a company called Curve Fish.
