Huawei Watch 2 Reset

Hi,

I have a box of devices picked up at an auction. Samsung S5 (cracked screen but works fine) and a Huawei Watch 2 4G ( I believe).

The phone has been reset and working, but the watch has a PIN and I have held down the top right button until vibrate, but seems to keep going back to the PIN screen. Obviously it is not synced to my phone and so I believe it might still be paired somewhere. the charge also only lasts about a day.

Can I reset or is this watch a dud and should I just chuck it?

You can contact Huawei and see if the PIN is an FRP requirement; or if there is a way around it. I owned a Huatch 2 and never had a PIN... then again, it was a Wi-Fi watch and not 4G. That may be part of a SIM lock - for a SIM that isn't there anymore. They may be able to clear it.

As far as the charge goes, yep: about a day's use is all you can expect, even from a new one. That's why I left it on the charger overnight while I slept, and used it all day.
