Hello, I've been wanting to root my Huawei Y635-L03 phone (Android 4.4.4) and have had trouble even just finding information about how to do so (I'm guessing because it's a less common phone?) I asked for help somewhere else and was recommended to try Kingo Root (not KingRoot), so I installed that on my PC and tested it by rooting an old Samsung Galaxy Ace II (a 4.0), which worked just fine. However when I tried it with the Huawei it did not work (specifically, the rooting program couldn't tell that I had enabled USB debugging on the phone, and wouldn't continue).
When googling rooting info for this model phone, the only guides I get are in Spanish, and they all say to use KingRoot (not Kingo Root). From reading about KingRoot I do not trust it, so I won't be doing that. Does anyone have any info at all about where I can go from here? Any links or advice? Or is my phone just not rootable in a safe manner? (At least it was cheap...)
