The Activa is not much better than the Admire, the only exceptions being 4G and 5MP camera with flash. As far as I know, it cannot play Temple Run, but it can play Smurf Village. If you don't want the Motion, then get another dual-core phone like the LG Connect ($150 on Black Friday).

The admire is great... we have root & cwm... overclock, tweaks & roms.. (cm7.2, cm9-kanged,deodexed & stock), themes & what not...
But our dev team has weakened ...little to no devs on the admire.... your best choice as of now is the connect,esteem,galaxy s3

why not just wait for a new releases. I would still be on Optimus M if motion did not come along. If you want to get a deal, you need to wait for a right moment, besides there are few nice phone leaks out already.
