Hudl2 - Creating Folders

Just bought the new Hudl, very pleased. So far I've removed things I won't use and added new apps.

However, the menu is very cluttered and I can't for the life of me figure out how to create a folder to tidy things up! I've tried tapping and holding on an icon but it just zooms it to the home page and creates a short cut.

Am I missing something?

Hi

Dont have a hudl but normally, when on the home page (not the app drawer), long press an app icon and drag and drop it onto another app icon. This creates a folder with both apps in it. Repeat...

Yes that works fine, but on the home page I just have the main apps I use showing. I'd like to create the folder in the 'app drawer' where it lists all the other ones. You can't drop one icon onto another to make a folder because it goes straight to the home page for the short cut :/

Hi

When in the app drawer and apps tab, press menu button - is there an option to "create folder" ?

There's no menu button, there's three buttons the one that shows you what's running, the home button and the back button which both take you to the home page.

I've been told a launcher is the only way I can add the create a folder option

Having read up a little, I think you are right. Try a launcher from the app store - Nova, Apex etc. If you dont like them you can just uninstall them again, they are just apps.
