Huge problem (lost phone app)

Upon unlocking my mytouch4g from tmobile, I put a different simcard, however i had forgotten that the app "LOST PHONE" for android was installed and reports the phone being stolen and is asking for a log in password... the problem is I NEVER SET THE PASSWORD.. therefore I feel like im stuck in a paradox with this issue.. the phone is asking for a password that was never defined and there is no way to get away from the screen of the app even after putting my original sim card in it!! Plus I need to be on the road tomorrow and have a business meeting I need to get to.. and figures, my phone is essential for me to do my job as I have my contacts, emails, appointments, and GPS in it.. ANY HELP would be appreciated as I have no idea what to do!

Umm, not the best advice, but you can try rooting the device if it comes down to it.
Rooting means hacking just in case you didn't know.

I suggest you wait for more responses first though. I don't know much about the MyTough4G.

If your device is already rooted, you can uninstall the app through adb.

Have you tried contacting the developer of the app?

In a worst case scenario you could attempt a factory reset. That should wipe everything off, including the security app, as well as all your info

Can he do a factory reset without being able to get into the menu though?
