Huh? will be installed soon?

New user. Just picked up my new Droid Ultra last week. Installed the Facebook app no problems. Have tried to install several other apps including Outlook.com app, moffice app, and a couple games. They seem to install but I get this message "...will be installed on your device soon". When I go to My Google Player or look at the app again to reinstall, they say it's been installed. Can't find it anywhere in my phone. Have checked to make sure I'm connected to wifi. Baffled. Completely. Thanks in advance for your help.
 
I'll get that message if I "push" an app to my phone from the Play website on my pc. Nothing ever happens on the phone though unless I either reboot or open the Play Store app… then it happens immediately. Does this apply to your situation, and if so, have you tried either?
 
Huh. I wonder now if I messed something up. I was uninstalling some apps I knew I wasn't going to use like NFL for example. Play Store was another. I kept Play Services thinking that was important, but never thought Play Store would be. Now I am finding that maybe reinstalling Play Store might not be so simple. Any thoughts? I have tried rebooting.
 
Oh, and I should've mentioned this as well. You don't really want to delete either one.
