I successfully rooted the device earlier today. Upon following instructions, I went to change permissions to the "setup/apps" directory. I attempted to restart the device and now it's basically bricked. All it does is keeps doing the boot loop.

I can however get in to both recovery and download modes fine.

I don't know what to do and I hope I just didn't ruin $500 just to try and get apps on my micro sd card. -________-

If it helps any, I used odin to do root. I've also tried using "N8000-Stock-Recovery.tar.md5" file and still loops.

I'm currently downloading "N8013UEUCMD3_N8013XARCMD3_XAR.zip" from hotfile, but it's going to take an hour+ to see if it does anything.

I'm so desperate. I'm pretty sure it boot loops, because I changed the "setup/apps" directory to something else. There has to be a way I can create a batch file or get an image or something that corrects it. I've even tried factory reset and does nothing.

It's not about saving data, just saving my $500 investment from being garbage.

I'm a n00b when it comes to rooting and whatnot (can't you tell? lol). Always been a afraid of something like this potentially happening... :((((
