I don't even think I've seen that in a launcher's settings. Anyone?

ETA: As I always say, Android is a Linux, and since everything is possible on Linux proper, it should be on Android, too.

Anyone know how to do this on Android? Our Moto Z² Force phones only have one font setting, size.

bump bumpity bump, I think that it is just the launcher varriation on the theme too.

As far as I know, it's not possible without root. Heavily skinned UIs like LG have font styles, but not stock android like on Motos.

Thanks, GT. I think it would be nice to have the infinite control over our Linux (Android) devices as we do on our Linux computers.

I no longer feel the need to root my Android devices, so I guess this is it!

As far as I know, it's not possible without root. Heavily skinned UIs like LG have font styles, but not stock android like on Motos.

Yeah I wish I didn't have to jump through hoops to get my sudo(root) on android. Guess android is too commercial for that?

You know what would be nice... If sudo was hidden away in the developer options where geeks like me can enable it if we wish.

There's a bunch of fonts in /system/fonts that I have no access to on stock android 8.1, though I'm not crazy about any of them.

And doesn't it just grind your gears knowing that they're there--but you can't use them?

On any Linux box, if you want to use system fonts you can, but you can also add all the other fonts your heart desires.

I wish they would trim off the massive weight off it though, like if you have a few programs runnin in the background - still after turning them off. You still have to feel some kind of warning without having a notification on the top hand of the screen - make it vanished off here and there too.
