i am looking for a battery app....

For.those who know how the.jphone platform world there is a percentage giving with the.battery at the top right. What kind of all for android has something similar.to.that?
 
i use guage battery widget it puts a little meter on the bottom of the screen like a spedometer and it just says what percent of battery you have left
 
Make a search in the market using the keyword: battery widget, I'm sure of that you could find some. Then Choose the largest rank count and higher rank score to try, I download apps using this method, and usually could find some better.
 
Battery Left is my favorite. It is free. You can have it put a battery gauge in the notification bar if you want. I like the wedgits it has. A one space and a 2x1 widget. Gives you tons of info if you click on it, from usage, to history and such. Just have to "train it". Charge battery fully once, then drain it to zero once. Now it knows the limits of the battery and once you charge it again it will be able to guesstimate when you will run out of juice with normal usage. :D
 
Try using Battery Minder
Does just that....Shows battery left in top bar and shows it in notifications too.

Similar is Battery Indicator. It shows the battery percentage in the notification bar and selelcting it goes into details
 
I think you really need to take a look at Battery left. it's a widget that allows you to display 2 items at a time about the battery. This can be time left, percentage, voltage, temp or nothing (just a graphic of the battery showing level). You can also customize the colors and how they display to give you a quick over view of the batteries charge state.

It's the time left feature that is very nice. It takes awhile to calibrate the rating as it's done base on your personal use of the phone. I also like displaying the temp of the battery as this affects it's life. I've seen it down around 73F when cool and as high as 106F.

I use Gauge Battery Widget as well. They just updated the widget to display an, optional, battery % in the notification area.
