Apps i am very new in android

hi i am very new in android

can anyone tell me the whole concept?

- how people earn from android application?

- if i want to develop android application in my XP OS computer what type of software i need to install?

any other info ?

People generally earn money by putting their applications on the Android Marketplace, and charge for downloads. There are other ways, but I believe that's the big one.

There is a good guide at Android Developers for setting up a dev environment. I would suggest using Eclipse and the ADT (Android Developer Toolkit) plugin. Instructions on that are located at ADT Plugin for Eclipse | Android Developers and Eclipse is at Eclipse.org home

Using Eclipse, it will be an option when you create a new project (you target an OS version for your project)

is i need to install java?

I believe that when you install Eclipse, you will get all the Java you need. If not, it's easy to get off of Sun's website.

You'll need the main Android SDK, which you can get from the developer site. You'll also need to get the ADT (android developer toolkit) plugin for Eclipse. Step-by-step instructions are at:
