Ok I thought sprint new policy cover broken screens... I'm under warranty and I have insurance on it...I have to pay $100 to get a replacement...I could of save the money on insurance and by this time got me a new phone....

You think is better get the a new & better phone? like the 3D ?? cuz i might as well get a new phone...

Wow that sucks. I just took my EVO in for repair because the screen had some mark on it. Whih looked similar toiquid damage. But nevertheless, the rep said that it wasnt liquid damage. It appeared as though something pressed up against the screen thus causing a pressure point marking. They replaced my screen free of charge.

Did you try another store? I'm thinking on selling my EVO either on Craigslist or the forums and using that money to buy a EVO 3D. If im unable to sell the EVO, I may just sell it back to Sprint for $150

If you call a store asking about a repair make sure you don't tell them any personal info at at eg( phone #, name, account #). Even if its just a hypothetical repair if they know you information they will mark your phone in your account as DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR. Once that's noted on your account it can't be removed by any level of customer service. They will do this over the phone without ever looking at your phone. I speak from experience. I called asking what their repair policy was for a screen repair policy was for dead pixels on a Samsung epic. I had a Samsung epic at the time but my screen was fine. My friend had earlier shown me his epic which had dead pixels and he informed me that they wouldn't repair it. My stupid self called the local sprint store to ask them about it and they assumed I was referring to my epic. Sprints official screen repair policy is the screen can only have on crack and it must be less than 1 inch long. Although repair centers vary on what they will actually do. I like to dress my wife provocatively and send her in and they will usually fix it no matter how bad it is.

No sprint doesnt cover what they consider physical damage..which is any type of damage done by the user..like water damage, broken screen, scratches, etc..thats what the insurance is for, although you have to pay the deductible but its better than having to buy a whole new phone.
