What's the best android phone for under $230 and one year contract.

I'm planing on buying a phone today and I need some feedback.


DROID by Motorola or LG Ally

There both great phones, the Droid is newer and faster but ally hundred dollars cheaper.

First, that second phone isn't the Ally (unless that's some other version of it that I haven't seen). Also I believe you might be able to grab the Ally for $50 with a new contract. EDIT: nevermind, you changed the picture.

I haven't had any experience with the Droid, but if you're comparing the two phones I've heard they're incredibly similar. The Ally has a wonderful keyboard however, and it's really easy to type with it.

I went to Verizon homepage and they offer the ally with a one year contact for $120.

I made this page because i'm going to buy one of these phones today. Furthermore, I really need other people feedback.

There's no one-size-fits-all device and there's no single "best" for everyone. Best is whatever suits you best. And is typical for posts like this, you've completely omitted what you need/want. Give us some details and we can give you meaningful responses instead of just voting for the most popular device -- which is what you'll get instead.

Have you checked out either device in person to assess your preferences for physical characteristics (size, weight, keyboard, "build quality", etc)?
