i can`t lock my phone help meee

i`m facing a problem with my htc wildfire phone i can`t lock it from the lock key it keeps awake till the time that i limmited(2 or 10 minutes)
sometimes i need to lock it to put it in my pocket but i have to wait till it locks from it self it was normal in the past i don`t know what happened suddenly
please help
 
Did you install any apps or change any settings recently? And, does the lock key still perform other functions? It feels like it's "clicking" when you press it in? You hold it down and it powers off? If not, it's probably a hardware problem and you should get your phone checked out. If it DOES perform other functions, it's probably a software problem and you can troubleshoot it and whatnot, but it may be easier to just do a factory reset.

Also, just to cover the basics-- try a battery pull if you haven't.

yes i downloaded some apps and uninstall some but i don`t know where is the problem
the key works normally i can switch it on/of and i can unlock it just i can`t lock it when i want i don`t know if i must do something in the settings ?
resentely it also switches off sudenly i don`t know why?
 
OP: are you willing to list all the apps that are currently on your phone? Maybe there's one you have that someone else might be able to attribute to this odd behavior. Also, did the battery pull work?

here are all my apps
1-app center
2-app lock
3-app manager
3-app mate
4-auto app
5-ebuddy
6-launch screen organizer(i installed it after the problem and don`t know how it works)
7-memories
8-mp3cutter
9-my bucket list
10-netqin antivirus
11-quick system information
12-root manager
13-root explorer
14-slide me
15-terminal emulator
16-titanum backup
and the other apps are already in the phone when i bought it


i installed an app from the market called (glock) but i doesn`t work so i uninstalled it also i can`t install the others form the market can you please give me one in direct link to download fom here? i`ll be thankfull
 
I'm having trouble finding all the apps you listed in the market. Ebuddy does prevent the phone from sleeping, though I don't think that would include keeping the screen on. Netqin looks to have the same permission. You can also try removing one app at a time, and see if anything changes

but i do need these apps and i had them all the time before the problem appears what should i do

I'm not telling you to delete all of them. Delete one and see if it makes a difference. If not, reload it and delete another one. Keep going until you've tried them all, one at a time
