I cannot delete files from external sd card

I cannot delete files from the my external Kingston 16 gb SD card. It seems
is write protected. It also came with sd card large adapter. How can i make it non-protected?. I have Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 S7275R mobile phone.

If it's write protected then you won't be able to write to it either. Is that the case?

What OS version are you running? Just wondering whether this is because of changes to removable storage access permissions in 4.4 rather than anything to do with the card.

I'm also rooted if this have to do with root.

Certainly nothing to do with root.

But there are files on it? How did they get there, and when did this start?

As much info as possible will help. Just knowing you can't delete files (method/app unknown) isn't much to go on.

I copied files to the external sd card before that was okay. Now i can't write in,
delete, move or copy the files on the sd card and it started 7 days ago.

I'm using the Samsung Galaxy 'My files' app to control files on the sd card.
I also tried ES File explorer and Astro file Manager and i can't access the files
again.

If it happened to me, I'd just USB my droid to my PC and access those files with whatever file manager I use in Windows.

Yow. Can you unplug the card from the droid and plug it into your PC?
At last accepted to copy the files to the pc by the app Wifi PC Explorer Pro and formated the SD. Finally the format it fixed it. Why this problem happened? Will it be happen again?

I think, there is virus in your card. You should install antivirus in it and then try it to remove the files from the card.

Doubtful, at best. FUD at worst.

No clue. I've had a Galaxy Victory make my 32GB SD go funny and require reformatting, then go bad entirely. After that, over a year of uneventful use of the microSD (not even a hiccup!)

Sounds like a failing card. They get a little flaky at first. Then a reformat might seem to fix it and soon it's *poof* it's toast.
