Lava etab z7c can't checkin on facebook when I click checkin then unfortunetely facebook has been stoped coming my andriod version is 4.0 ics

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. Hopefully I can help you with your problem.
The best advice I can give you is to
1st- make sure gps is enabled.
2nd- go into your phone's settings and looks for apps. Locate Facebook and wipe the data. You will have to sign back in of course but hopefully that will solve your problem.
3rd- Uninstall Facebook. Reboot your device, go to Google Play and redownload the Facebook app.
4th- This is the last fix I have to offer you and I have had to do it in the past myself in order to get Facebook to work properly of one of my devices.
Google an older version of Facebook from the web. Download the app and scan it for viruses. Place the app on your sd card if you have one. If not, place it on your internal storage. Use a file explorer to locate the Facebook app and install it.
Make sure that you have your Google Play app set to never install updates automatically!!!
If you do all you have done will be for naught. It will replace the older version with the new one you just got rid of. lol
If all of the above 1-3 steps fail, #4 will probably solve your problem. Again, make sure that you change the Play app setting to manual update.
