Can you install from the market?

yes i can ... but apps in markets are silly

So what program are you trying to use?
And are you sure the apps your trying to install can run on 1.6/1.5/whatever android version you're using? BHMan (aka eugene) has 4 different ODIN roms (Behold II and Galaxy of both 1.5 and 1.6).

You might also need to go into your settings and check Unknown Sources. However, if your installing stuff you got from Someguy on the internet, you might want to run an Antivirus/malware scan on them first, just to be safe.

i want to install 3d pool game( it says that the game is supported for all android devices) but i don't know if the 1.5/1.6 matters.. i'm on 1.5,
the unknown sources is already checked..

you'll only find out one way...try installing it and see if it works. but euph_22 is right, you should run an antivirus/malware scan on that particular file first if you downloaded it from some source on the internet.
