I can't remember the pattern lock on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

I put a pattern lock and I can't remember it. I also have a fingerpattern, so I can get in to the Phone. The Phone is new so I have only got it for a few days, so I was thinking of att factory data reset, but the Phone ask for The pattern that I can't remember. What should I do?
I have tried many times so now its 60 minutes every time I try.

Your only alternative is to do a factory reset. Went through this same scenario with my Son and his new S7. Samsung could not help and Android Device Manager could not undo. Don't waste anymore time just reset the phone.

Turn off the phone
  1. Press and hold “Volume Up”, “Home” and “Power” at the same time
  2. When the “Samsung” logo appears, release “Power
  3. At the “Android” logo, release the other two hardware keys as well
  4. Wait for access to the Recovery menu (may take up to 60 seconds)
  5. Once in the Android System Recovery menu, you will see the option to reset the phone which you select
  6. Press “Power” to confirm.

NO, I did not make all the dups of my post. Not sure what happened but it was not on my end. I typed my reply here and then needed to sign in to forum and .....

No worries. However, it's not true that factory reset is the only way. As long as the phone is connected to the internet and he's activated either Find My Mobile or ADM, he can fix it.

Supposedly, but even with "Find My Mobile or ADM" it was a no go in regard to my son's S7. Yes, it should have wqorked but..

The phone needed to be connected and signed in. If it was not setup in the first place, then that's when you'll have problems.
