I can't root android 8.1

I installed android 8.1 rom without problem but I can't root this rom. I tried to install magisk but I couldn't install any apk file and I couldn't download any app on google play.then I flashed magisk manager uninstaller. Now,I can install apk files and I can download apps on google play. I used nougat rom before but I had not a problem like that.
How can I root?

Start by telling us what phone you have. And if "ROM" means custom ROM, tell us which one (links if possible). Any other information about the state of the phone that might possibly be relevant would also save time - remember that we only know what you tell us.

If you're just running stock OS, try flashing a NoVerity.zip after flashing Magisk..
