Help I can't split my micro sd card into two partitions.

So I have a 32 gigabyte class 10 sandisk micro sd card and I am trying to partition it for my lg optimus f3 for app storage. The problem is that everytime i try two split it into two partitions of any kind of format, the second partition always comes up as "Other" instead of being formatted. I'm using MiniTool by the way. Can anybody help me please?
