I cant Sync my hotmail account in galaxy s7 edge.

Hi folks,
I just exchange my Galaxy Note7 for an Galaxy S7 Edge.

I am configuring my hotmail.com account on default email client on samsung galaxy s7 Edge (updated) however i keep geeting an email that must download outlook app to get emails. I have tried few times and the results are same. It's configured as microsoft exchange activsync. Are there any such enforcement to use outlook app for android? How can i ue the default mail client.

I am able to download the app but i am not able to use default email client. When I configure the default email client i get this only email from Microsoft Account:

Action required: finish setting up your email
Outlook.com is best accessed with free outlook app.

Don't Microsoft now block access to Hotmail with other apps unless you pay for it?

Did it work on the note 7 or did you have the same issue?

Actually looking at the screen shot you posted, you just need to click the 'click here' link in the text in the bottom paragraph above the play store link/logo
