I can't use internet while my Nexbox a95x is downloading or doing anything

I just recently purchased a Nexbox a95x android box. While streaming a video, I can surf the web simultaneously with the android box. But if it's downloading an upgrade, I can't do anything.

Help greatly appreciated, & thanks for taking time out for a noob as myself.

Inadequate network bandwidth possibly, i.e. the downloads are consuming all your available bandwidth? How fast is your internet and home network? It isn't provided by satellite or something is it?

I've had that happen to me with large files syncing to dropbox. The solution (if you have that option) is to throttle connections by device on your router. Download will happen slower, but you won't lose you connections elsewhere.
