i do not have any of the applications i have downloaded

Hi. I have recently been downloading some apps from the market and they download and install "succesfully" but they do not appear anywhere in my phone. If I go back to the app I downloaded in the market, it says it is already installed and gives me the option to open it there. Can anyone please help me? Thank you

What phone? If u long press ur main screens and select apps are they there.

I have the droid 1. I do not have the option to select shortcuts like that.

The 4x4 home grid...the App Drawer.

Alternatively, if you cannot find them there, open the notification bar and then open the app there?

That is what I have been talking about. They are not in the app drawer. I already opened them with the notification bar so they disappeared from it

I am actually quite convinced that verizon has messed with my phone in order to get me to buy the droid 2 because I also know that there are 2 towers within a mile of my house and I ALWAYS have 1 service bar, my calls drop, my internet rarely works, and other things

I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that. Verizon has NO control over blocking you from installing apps on your phone.

If you are sure the apps arent showing up, try clearing the cache/data from the market. If that doesnt work, a hard reset will probably fix everything.
