Depends on the quality of the SD card. Remember that even the fastest SD card is still slower than the actual onboard flash memory. Plus SD cards are more likely to fail. When it does fail, youre going to experience various troubles like ghost touches, unresponsive phone, etc. But that's what's normal to expect from using adoptable storage on any Android phone. Just make frequent backups so you can factory reset without worries if need be.
But it still doesn't leave me with enough space for all my games... and the s6 battery is a deal break. I should have gone for the note 5There's always the S6 with 64 and 128GB internal. From what I hear the only real complaint about it is battery, but that can easily be solved. And the performance really isn't that far off.
Also, it would be better to not use the external SD as adoptable storage anyway in my opinion. Samsung's default implementation of letting other apps move part of their data to SD card and let the core part stay in the internal is better IMO.
