If a phone gets wet there's really only one thing to try:
* turn it off immediately. Remove the battery if you can.
* you need to dry it thoroughly without using heat (which speeds corrosion). The normal advice is to put it in a jar of uncooked rice for a couple of days. The rice will draw the moisture out. Of course if you have a suitable quantity of a dessicant like silica gel then that's even better.
* After that? Cross your fingers and hope - there's not much else you can do.
If it does come back, I'd still recommend backing up your data at the first opportunity. Moisture damage is insidious, so even if it seems to work you cannot count on it not failing somewhere down the line.
