And you're going to trust the files posted on a site hosted in Russia? mmmkay. I wouldn't.
I'm sure it did. I'd be more concerned with what was included in the rom.Well I downloaded one and it worked just fine

I think you guys are possibly tripping, Lol. I've found ROM development and actually useful answers to errors in Russian forums that didn't exist anywhere else I have looked..
Any bashing on Russia probably belongs in the PC&A Section under 'Democratic Fakery' or 'I'm with HER' threads. 😂 😂
No hate, @mikedt . Was just trying to be humorous. And yes, you certainly DO make a great point about discontinued ROMs. Our government has backdoors to every OS within a few months of each release (FYI). Really, no joke.. and those doors all have Pokemon names! I did also happen to build a Nougat ROM from Finnish sources a CPL months ago, actually worked quite well even tho I worried it would boot in a foreign language I possibly couldn't read. No worries needed cuz it automatically set the language to the one the SIM was programmed to.I don't think anything was intended as bashing on Russia per se, and more about installing and using software from whatever untrusted sources. Like we often recommend people install their apps from Google or Amazon and not some whatever site, whether it's in America, Russia, China, etc.
Although I'm thinking here, why would anyone want to be installing a discontinued and unsupported custom ROM? Especially there's things like Lineage OS that basically continues the work that Cyanogen left off. Just about all devices that were supported by CyanogenMod are supported by Lineage OS.
