I understand your frustration with your new S6. But you now own it and it does have its strong points. This forum can help you fix a lot of the issues and still enjoy it.

Cheers

LOL, thanks!

I do like the camera - though even then it often goes ahead and takes shots before anything is in focus. My Note2 would refuse to take the shot unless something was in clear, sharp focus, whereas this thing seems kind of half-hearted about that pesky focus thing?

Went caving the other day, 1 in 6 shots were useless. I didn't realise at the time and once again made the error of trusting Samsung not to screw up...

I didn't really expect, and it was confirmed, that no, Samsung and/or Android haven't figured out that if there is absolutely no signal, anywhere, to quit searching for one and save the battery by only looking say, for example, once every 5 minutes, or 10 minutes, eventually dropping to once an hour or so. Common sense, right?

Nope. Within 2 hours of being in a cave this thing was at 30% battery, and crying that it needed a charger on the drive home, at 2 pm.

Pathetic.

Yeah, I know, I should have turned on aircraft mode, but it was only a little cave, just a couple of hours... And it was such GREAT fun, fumbling around with a waterproof pouch, because this thing isn't (waterproof)....

Well it would help if this POS actually showed up on the list of my devices on the Play store?

I just installed an ap (Blinklist) via the phone, but looking at the Playstore the only device Google thinks I have is my old Note2? I've had the Sh*t6 for awhile now, and has my Google account registered, it just downloaded an app from said store, but on my PC Google doesn't think it exists?
