I HATE this new Sprint "Telenav"!

Any program that requires me to ALWAYS "download files for first time use" every damn time I use it does NOT "blow out of the water" any previous program.

That sounds like an isolated issue with your apk file install. I would reinstall it. It does not happen to me.

You got issues with your phone then. Any antivirus? Try removing your SD card and doing the install.

THat is not normal. Clear Data for the app and try again.

Just thought I'd say that this method worked fine for me. Personally I prefer Telenav because Google Maps has the incorrect street name for where I work. I cleared the data (Settings/Applications/Manage applications/Telenav/Clear Data) and rebooted the app. Thanks TheEngineer

Never worked for me. I finally uninstalled it and am using the regular Navigation app with NO problems.

I used Sprint Nav on my Palm Pre for 2 years. I loved it. I've been using Google Nav on my Evo3D and it's also great. =)
