Help I have a BIG issue Please Help!

Ok so basically I had reset my phone because i noticed it was acting a little sluggish and not responding on time, after resetting everything went smoothly but then when I tried to open the google play store it was stuvk at version 5.1.1. I at first, did not realize it at the time and I tried installing apps but every app id try to install would have "error -504" displayed on it. I've tried everything, like clearing my data, force stopping the application and at one point disabling it in general. The play store will not even update on its own at all and I've tried installing an google play apk with the current version of 7.5 but every apk I try it appears to continue to say
" Application is not Installed "
I am at my wits end with this issue and just ready to get a new phone in general, if anyone is able to help me with a fix ill be greatly appreciated, ive reset my phone like 3 times now no results im just now starting to think im basically inevitably stuck with this issue. And my phone wont even update the system update firmware without giving a freaking error. Im at my limit PLEASE HELLLLPPPPPP!!!!!

P.S. Im on an LG Optimus L90 running android version 5.0.2.

Did you add Google account

reset your google account or sign in with another account and then try

It usually takes a while before the playstore updates after a reset, in my experience at least. I usually just keep the playstore open and leave it overnight or for a few hours.
