Help I have a minus 3 showing in emails?

I'm a newbie just migrated to Samsung Galaxy 3 and LOVE it! SO much better than BlackBerry that I've had for years! But still learning!
I have an annoying -3 showing against the email ? How can I have a minus 3 emails....how do I get rid of it?
Please help you wonderful people out there in etherland

That is weird. maybe it's telling you that you're about to get spammed three times.
