I have a nexus 3 google! Help

i just got a nexus 3 google ive been trying to get it working with the wifi all day and no luck. i checked to see if my wifi box was on and working and it was i checked my wifi on my phone and it says connected but the wifi signal on the top right corner always stays gray and it has like two arrows and one looks like its going down and the other up they both flash a the same time and they go on and off every like 20seconds. ive tried everything turning the wifi on and off both router and phone. i restarted my phone several times and nothing has worked please help me

those Arrows mean datas is transferring, so try a factory reset.

when you look at your status bar do you see just the wi-fi bars? or do you see the phones signal with 3G or 4G next to it?

if you only see the WiFI bars and no signal indicator then you are connected to WI-fi and you should be good to go ...

if you see the 3g or 4g with wifi on then do as dirtydee suggested and try resetting your phone to clear all your settings and App protocols
