I have a question about using codes to purchase games/apps

I'm still sort of new to the Android scene. I always see people post apps or games, and in their post, they have a little icon that can be scanned to buy it. How exactly do I scan it? Do I use my camera?

download a bar scanner app from the market, you then use that by putting whatever barcode in the camera view

I use Shopsavvy Barcode Scanner, works well for me and it is free

google goggles works fairly well, free.

yeah I am new to this QR stuff as well. i think it's a little funky but there's a lot of people who take it extremely seriously, so as a dev I have to embrace it.. watch for some interesting stuff soon
