Go to Google and use the gmail password recovery.

Sorry you forgot your password. You can always try going to gmail.com on a PC, entering the account e-mail address, and hitting "Forgot Password". It should take you through the password reset procedure, on the computer. Once you have the new password, enter it on the phone.
If you're referring to a pattern or PIN to unlock the phone itself, then that's a little more complicated. You'll have to access Recovery and do a factory reset, which will take the phone back to its out-of-the-box state. You will lose your apps, data and settings. If your phone has a microSD card, remove it before doing this. Google the specific model number of your device along with the word "Recovery" and it will tell you how to access recovery on your phone to do the factory reset.
