I hope Vlingo gets better

I do think Vlingo rocks so fare but hope it gets more improvements. Like being able to control more things on my Galaxy S2. I know there is talk about Apples Siri but I think Vlingo has the chance to be the same. Has anyone herd if there are talks of an update ?

Vlingo is great at what it does, but natural language processing and knowledge searching is not its strength. Apps like SpeaktoIt, Evan, and Skyvi are much better at some of the Siri-like features than Vlingo is. Those apps are putting out updates all the time, adding new skills to compete with Siri. Vlingo hasn't had an update since September 13.

I used to use Vlingo all the time to perform actions and it worked super well hand in hand with the native text messaging, calling app, etc... They released an update a few months ago which now presents everything to you through their own interface which I really don't find very intuitive. Stopped using it since then. We'll see maybe they'll get their act together, would be nice really loved it when it worked super well.

Installed vlingo today on my desire and like a lot of the features. A couple of gripes:
-It won't do anything without internet access, even sending text messages or phoning people - what's that about?
-When using the hands free features (still in beta) it's supposed to start listening on a given voice command, but this doesn't work
-As far as I can tell, it doesn't integrate with the calendar ie "what's on today?", "add calendar entry"
-using eva, when you attempt to navigate, it automatically turns gps on if it's not already. That's a nice touch.

Would like to see some of these included in future updates.

I've just tried out skyvi, eva and speaktoit, but found them all horrible! Vlingo the most usable so far, despite the above.
