Hi, si this is what I did. I plugged my htc one 7 into my labtop, I was trying to move some videos/pics to from phone to computer. It wasent like the other phones ive dealt with, something like mtp came up ( i dont know what that means) but i played with it for a few but then had to leave so I just unplugged my phone & left & now my music is gone, my gallery, my drop box seems empty & when i go to take a pic i dont know where its even going, I cant even look at the review right after i take a pic. Its just blank. & when i tried to look up my music it says please insert sd card. Well i dont think this phone has a place to even put an sd card. I really hope someone can help me, is there anything i can do??

"MTP" is microsoft's Media Transfer Protocol. It's been the standard way Android phones connect to computers for at least 3 years now (most no longer support USB Mass Storage).
I've never had a problem with unplugging like that (though I don't use Windows, so who knows whether that does something silly). But it's behaving as if the /sdcard is unmounted. Have you done the obvious and rebooted the phone? If you fire up a file explorer what can you see on the device (especially /sdcard and folders like DCIM and Music)?

Hi, i dont know a whoke lot about this kund of stuff, its all trial and error for me & I dont wanna do anything to permently lose my pics. I did reboot it & its still the same & I did the file explorer thing & it says I only have like 10 files & normally I have prob over 100 & massive pics. When i go to my music there is none & it says please insert sd card. Well my phone dosent take an sd card, so what does that mean?
