Help I lost photos and videos after clearing my whatsapp data.

So I decided to clear my whatsapp data and after a while I had found out that I had lost afew weeks worth of photos and all my videos and bluetooth received items from my gallery. I have restored my whatsapp data but that has not helped with getting back my videos and photos that where not sent through whatsapp. So why does whatsapp delete items that was not connected to it? Plus is there anyway of getting it back?

Have you checked Google+ to see if they got backed up? I'm not sure why clearing Whatsapp would affect your other media.
