I love my new Galaxy Tab A, but....

.....is there a way to just bypass the security start up? I have the security pattern and I'm the only person who ever opens my Tab A. It stays in the home and there is no risk of anybody accessing it.
I can't seem to find anything about bypassing it in settings. It has the 7.0 version on it.
Also, I am able to use Hammermill Printer App.(Epson Stylus) on my Galaxy s7 phone, but not on the Tab A. Some of the other printer apps are not working either. I can't find anything in settings that would keep me from using the printer app.
If anybody has any suggestions about the security startup and the printer app, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

To remove Pattern Security go to Settings > Lock screen and security and select "Swipe" under Screen Lock Type.

I'm sorry but I can't help you with the Hammermill Printer App.
